Set along Ocean Drive and framed by lush tropical surroundings, this Ocean House residence was conceived as a refined retreat within the energy of South Beach. The design vision embraces coastal-modern ideals—warm, minimal, and deeply intentional—allowing architecture, light, and materiality to work in quiet harmony. Drawing inspiration from its oceanfront context, the home balances openness and intimacy, creating a serene environment that feels both elevated and grounded. Every decision was guided by a singular objective: to reinterpret luxury not as excess, but as clarity, comfort, and purpose—true to Troy Dean Home’s philosophy of redefining the concept of home through thoughtful design.
Construct
The execution of this residence reflects Troy Dean Home’s fully integrated design-build approach, where architecture, interior design, construction, and millwork operate seamlessly under one roof. European oak flooring runs throughout, grounding the space with warmth and continuity, while custom millwork—crafted in soft, tonal hues—was designed to blend effortlessly with the architectural envelope. An open layout and sheer window treatments maximize natural light, enhancing the connection between interior spaces and the surrounding tropical landscape. Layered lighting—recessed, ambient, and accent—was carefully orchestrated to add depth and softness, ensuring every moment of the day is supported by the right atmosphere. Precision, craftsmanship, and restraint define the construction process, resulting in a home where function and refinement coexist naturally.
