Troy Dean Ippolito is the founder and creative force behind Troy Dean Home. A native Floridian, he grew up immersed in the South Florida building industry as the son of a successful builder and developer. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural and Structural Engineering from the University of Miami.

After graduating, Troy obtained his Florida General Contractor's license and launched his own construction company. In 2005, he founded the predecessor firm (originally known as Trend Design + Build) to unite his expertise in architecture, engineering, interior design, and construction into a single, comprehensive design-build practice.
