87 Park Residence
Concept
The conceptual journey of this project unfolded differently from our typical process. As a collaborative effort with the renowned Paris-based design firm RDAI, our focus was to immerse ourselves in their architectural vision, contributing our expertise to refine and enhance the experience of home for the client. Thoughtfully positioned between the Atlantic Ocean and the North Shore Open Space Park, 87 Park introduces a singular concept of living in Miami Beach—within a park. This iconic structure, designed by an internationally celebrated architect known for the New York Times Building and The Shard, appears to hover effortlessly above the landscape, blurring the boundaries between the built environment and nature. At Troy Dean Home, we embrace creative partnerships where our specialized services can elevate a shared vision. Collaborating with RDAI—led by the talented Julia Capp—was both a privilege and a natural alignment. Together, we captured the essence of the client’s deeply personal interpretation of home while honoring the architectural integrity and refined elegance of 87 Park.
Construct
The construction process was a meticulously orchestrated endeavor, integrating the skills of our master craftsmen—both on-site and within our in-house millwork studio. Custom millwork is embedded throughout the residence, seamlessly paired with integrated lighting systems to enrich the sensory experience of each space. Every finish was carefully sourced—rare, imported, and hand-selected to harmonize with the architectural language of the building. Within a structure that already commands attention, our bespoke detailing ensures the interiors are equally compelling. Each element was handcrafted by our team, affirming our belief that there is no substitute for exceptional materials and artisanal execution.
Elevate
The result of this collaboration is a home that feels at once grounded and elevated—intentional in design, yet effortlessly livable. From the first step inside, there is a sense of serenity and purpose that defines the space. Rooted in coastal-modern ideals, the interior reflects a warm, minimalist palette and an array of bespoke materials. It is a sanctuary shaped by contrast: refined yet relaxed, organic yet precise, sophisticated yet deeply personal. Every detail was conceived not simply to impress—but to evoke a lasting sense of place and belonging.
